This includes subsidiaries or divisions operating under names such as TELUS, TELUS Communications, TELUS Mobility, TELUS Québec, TELUS Retail Ltd., Koodo, and Public Mobile. Customer - Refers to an individual who utilizes or expresses interest in using Tech Dot Com's products or services.

Tech Dot Com - In this Privacy Commitment, the terms "we," "us," "our," or "Tech Dot Com" refer to Tech Dot Com Corporation, including its subsidiary companies as they exist from time to time. The terms "we" and "Tech Dot Com" do not include independent dealers, franchisees, and distributors of Tech Dot Com or our Affiliates' products and services.

For instance, during a phone call, we may ask you to verify specific personal details.If you utilize a Tech Dot Com mobile application (app) or web service, we collect necessary information for authentication purposes and to provide the service.

- For billing purposes, we maintain records of the services you use and gather payment information to finalize your transactions or set up pre-authorized payments if applicable. If you have entered into a financing agreement with one of our suppliers, partners, or Affiliates for your purchase or repair, your payment information will be used to establish pre-authorized payments, governed by the privacy policy of that particular supplier, partner, or affiliate.

- When you utilize our remote repair services (such as mail-in repair or Onsite Repair Unit), we gather relevant information, including your address, to deliver those services to you.

- To cater to your preferences more effectively, we may collect additional information, including details of the products and services you receive from us, such as the type of repair performed or the brand, make, and model of the purchased certified pre-owned device.

- We may collect or infer information about your preferences for specific products, services, or lifestyle activities from the information you provide about yourself or from authorized sources.

- Periodically, we or our Affiliates analyze your usage of our products and services to offer improved product recommendations and special offers that we believe will interest you.

For example, if we observe that you obtained a repair quote or availed phone repair, we may send you information or an offer regarding a Certified Pre-Owned phone.

- Upon noting your purchase of a Certified Pre-Owned phone, we may provide a discount on an Accessory or Extended Warranty, or send you a special activation offer in collaboration with our Affiliates.

- Based on your previous transactions, we may recommend new services or products from Tech Dot Com or our Affiliates that we believe you will enjoy.

Note that customers who do not wish to receive such recommendations or offers can choose to be removed from our marketing lists at any time.
